How to Thrive During Mercury Retrograde

It's That Time of Year Again...

It's Mercury Retrograde Season!

Hey Soul Fam! Welcome to The Pharosmoon Journal  We're going to talk all about how to thrive during our favorite time of year Mercury Retrograde. I've talked a little more in depth about the planet Mercury and what this planet rules and how it effects us on this weeks Pharoscopes. This is our last retrograde of 2021 and is currently transiting through romantic, loving, diplomatic, fun vibing Libra. During this time we're currently being supported by the scales of this season to balance out our relationships in love, friends, family and self. We're being guided to go inwards to connect with ourselves and our closes relationships to improve what we weren't able to learn or grow from the last Mercury Retrograde season.

I know that when I used to hear about Mercury being in this aspect that I would  either A. Blame everything that went wrong on the retrograde or B. Freak the hell out because I felt that these next three weeks were going to be hell! The rush of anxiety would just com over me because I didn't always have my head on straight, I was juggling so many things at the same time. I failed to realize that I was so pressured to be "ahead of the game" that I was just making it worst for myself than Mercury Rx was. I looked like a mad woman trying so hard to make sure I was able to beat the chaotic energy. I was making sure I wasn't manifesting during this time, not starting any new projects, or start any new job that would lead me to signing contacts. I avoided all the thing "not to do" during Mercury Retrograde. All these restrictions, fear, anxiety and stress over this crazy season was too much for me to bare.

So I decided that I would be more intentional during this time to really understand what I needed to learn during these shifts of transition. I wanted to get to the root cause of why I felt this pressure to have to in a rush to be on top of things. I'm pretty sure you've all be there!

Almost done writing your paper when all of sudden your internet connection gets lost and you didn't save your work. Or when you can't seem to get the right words to say when you get that strange text from your ex. Or when your flight gets delayed that you miss out on a really important business opportunity. All of these things happen to really encourage us to slow the hell down and pause for a minute.

During Mercury Retrograde we're all being stopped so we can begin to really be present with ourselves and the people we connect with in our daily lives. We're being given an opportunity to thrive on our biggest challenges by learning how to slow down, process information we receive and we give to others. We're taking the time to be intentional so therefore we don't run into more frustrating dilemmas.

Also we're being given to reflect and go inwards on what we would like to improve during this time. When you really think about it in this light, it's like we're being fully supported by the cosmos. We have a chance to reestablish what we couldn't before. We can take the time now to be more present so we don't feel that we have to blame every little thing that goes wrong we blame the retrograde or outside sources.

I would like to share with you some tips on how to thrive during this season of pause, stillness and reflection. Hopefully these serve as a reminder that it's okay to take your time and do what feels right for your soul.

Setting Intentions

Mercury Retrograde doesn't have to be a negative experience. It's a beautiful time to really take your time and being present in your moment to moment. When you set intentions about how you want to start your day or how you would like your day to end. It gives you a realization that you're in control of how you want to feel. When you lean into this energy of anchoring your soul in the strong intention you feel absolutely powerful navigating this energy while preparing you for what's to come.

Commit to Your Practices

When you have certain boundaries and practices in place it's easier for you to move around within the sacred spaces that you created. When you have a spiritual or wellness practice in place it's easy to stay grounded and remain consistent during Mercury Retrograde. Having a routine or ritual of sort will help you remain present, in your body, in your space and in your life. Having a practice can support you during these unpredictable events.

Surrender To Slow Down

The moment you surrender you begin to start to take things easy, slow and steady. Embrace the discomforts, pauses, and uncertainties that this season can bring. By creating space for all the new growth we are able to appreciate what it took to get us there. We are able to show gratitude to the experiences and people that remind us to slow down and breathe.

Release the Fears

Mercury Retrograde has a bad rep, but that doesn't mean that you have to fall into the fears behind this aspect. If you find yourself getting caught within the dos and don't on how to navigate this time. Allow yourself to find your breath and release any fears and attachments that you have. Know that this time does not have an power over you, but encourages you to go beyond the fears because on the other side is true liberation. Remember life is not happening to us life is happening because we create it.

Thank You

In conclusion there's nothing to be worried about during this Mercury Retrograde. We have full control, power, and knowledge on how to be during this transition. Take the time to appreciate what slows you down, what stops you to reflect, and what fears come up that are ready to be released during these next few weeks.

Again always do what feels right to you, make sure to ground yourself during your practices and show gratitude to anything that may slow you down, be patient with yourself and others. Be present so you can soak up all the growth, create space, and thrive during this season.

Until next time soul fam! Happy Manifesting!

With Love and Light,

Bethalize
