Welcome ghouls and gals! to another monthly energy reading from The Pharosmoon Journal I'm the one who is actually screaming here lol because this post a little late. I want to think that it's all these retrogrades that are influencing me to slow down and pour into myself and show up a little differently this time around. I'm really happy that it's fall. I love the spooky season of October. Besides stocking up on candies and cavities and dressing up in cool costumes. October brings more than just spooks and scares. It brings us energies of balance, solitude resetting, slowing down, reflecting and transitioning. As we see the nature getting ready to harvest for the colder months, shedding away leaves, and welcoming the new change. We are also doing the same with our intentions and energy this month. We are being supported by this month with Mercury Retrograde as well as having five other planets in retrograde; we're being given the time to pause and really reflect on our relationships on all levels.
October is encouraging us to really look at where we are investing our time and energy into things that feel like energy vampires. We have been giving our power away for too long and it's time to call it back. It's time to balance out the scales, if you find that you are on the one side of the scale of giving too much then you may want to pull back and use that energy for yourself. If you are on the receiving end and find your hands are too full of taking so much, then it's a good idea to give back.
Go where you are appreciated, be around people who celebrate you and your energy. Show gratitude to those who challenge you to be the best version of yourself. We don't have to keep putting our efforts on people, places, and experiences that no longer fulfilling us. We are being called to really be in our own energy, getting to know our own spirit beyond the surface.
Spirit is encouraging us to take time for ourselves to revaluate our time and energy. Where are we putting our attentions on? Is what we are placing our attention on providing value, growth, peace, fun in your life? Or is it keeping you stuck in the same cycle of a tug a war? Right now during this month it's about claiming back your power. Letting go of things that you can't control, allowing things to be, letting go of attachments and expectations.
Holding yourself accountable and taking responsibility for all your actions and choices you make. We are being asked to step into higher roles because we have asked the universe for more of what we want, however in order for us to be available and ready to step up into these states of expansion, we must break ourselves from what is no longer serving us. We have to be honest and hold space for ourselves to dive deep and allow the layers to shed away like the autumn leaves fall off a tree.
Once you are able to be honest and vulnerable with ourselves, knowing where and what our energy is being placed on. You can then make better choices that will lead us to a better outcome. October energies are here to support you while you create space for your deepest callings and desires. While it may be uncomfortable and terrifying stepping into new ways of open and honest with yourself. It also helps to know that you gained something from stepping out of your comfort zone.
This month is all about balancing the foundation before building the house. Don't be afraid to connect with yourself on a deeper soulful level to reveal any unstable ground that will not sustain your house. Allow the heavy layers to break and fall away. Watch how nature adapts and move through the cycles of change, you'll find it easy to know that you can to move through these seasons knowing that it was all for your highest good. Spirit is leaving many hints and clues helping about what will help you fulfil your dreams.
Lean into trusting, allowing, flowing, and trusting. Pay attention to what is being removed from your life, thank it for being there, to teach you things you needed to know.

The first card is The Hermit comes to us when we need some time for ourselves. So we can connect with our own inner guidance to retrieve the clarity we need for the next steps. When we take time to be alone with our own frequency we gain inner perspectives, insights, and time to reflect on the lessons of the past so you can bring them forward to the future. Take advantage of this time as we're being supported by Mercury Retrograde these are times for us to review, reflect, and refocus what we've gained during our time as the hermit.

🔮 Key Vibes: Fairness, Truth, Justice, Cause & Effect, Justice
The second card is Justice, this card comes to us with when we need to see both sides of the story to get a clearer view. We're currently in Libra Season and with the retrograde at play we're being giving an opportunity to balance out the energies that is coming to us so we can balance out the scales in our lives. We're seeking the truth to find justice and fairness in all of relationships. Taking the time to be alone will be able to help you see all sides of story so you can make the best decision that is for your highest good.
I really hope that these insights provide you all with inner peace, inner guidance, and inner strength to navigate this retrograde with grace and ease. Remember it doesn't have to be a time full of horrors. If this time is used correctly you can make the most out of the retrograde season.
